"Cracka Barrel" is too low! The Old Man's Garage Malibu played a bad trick on Moroso Trick Springs!

As we're fond of saying here around the shop, anything worth doing once is worth doing twice so let's take this G Body front suspension apart again! Unfortunately for us, and Bill, the Moroso Trick Springs for the front of this car although they give excellent travel aren't rated for the weight this thing carries over the nose. Steel bumper, steel fenders, hood, all the accessories, and a small block... it's just too much weight and crushing the springs down to the bump stops.

So, back to the old setup we go! These old springs SEEM to be the original ones to the car and have the nose pretty low even as is. Seeing as we still have them in 1 piece and a stiffer Trick Spring isn't available for a few days... The Old Man's Garage Malibu is going back together with "stock" springs so he can keep on rolling. Unfortunately with the change in ride height there WILL be a few adjustments needed on the alignment though not much so a quick little touch up on the rack and she's ready to roll.

For those who are curious as to the tool we use for the coil spring installation and removal that is from OTC, part number is..

OTC 7045B
