The Polyphoenix still is a new modular still design that can be used for many different distillation management methods. Irrespective of if you are using the still for reflux, pot, soxhlet or other distillation this one modular design can be re-configured for many different applications.

The still head fits the digiboil or brewzilla using the pro-distillation lid and enables you to make vodka, rum, whiskey, gin or any other distilled spirit.

Reconfigure the 3" tri-clover parts to suit your particular distillation application. It doesn't matter if you want to use coolant management (CM), vapor management (VM), liquid management (LM) or even power management (PM). This one modular design enables you to switch between methods to suit your particular distillate and preferred extraction.

The still is made from PPSU which is a high temperature and highly chemical resistant polymer that allows you to see inside the distillation head while also giving you several other benefits such as being cool to touch, more than 20 times more insulative than stainless steel and also more modular in it's design.

Special thanks to Pavel Zhazhin who also helped us with this distillation design. You can see his Instagram channel here:

0:55 - Why are injection molded PPSU distillation segments better than stainless or copper?
2:15 - Why is PPSU such a great plastic for distillation?
3:15 - PPSU has substantially better insulation than stainless and copper.
5:05 - Coolant Management (CM), Liquid Management (LM) and Vapor Management (VM).

11:55 - Why is vapor management more stable than other management methods? It's because it maintains the same "reflux" ratio throughout the collection.
