It is my belief that this quote like many others throughout history has often been misunderstood, misinterpreted, and has possibly led to many golfers struggling to properly power the club in their golf swing. When first read it may seem that Hogan was eluding to actively powering the club with his right hand, releasing the club even far before impact...but maybe this isn't the message we should be gathering?
