High Protein Steak Pasta. As a pro rugby player this meal is ideal as it’s high calorie and high protein.

Ingredients:
275g Rib Eye Steak
100g Pasta
50g Parmesan
1 red onion
5 cloves of garlic
50ml of Double Cream
Salt & Pepper

Calories: 1243
Protein: 92
Carbs: 83
Fats: 60

Cooking Instructions:

1. Bring steak to room temperature.
2. Place pasta on the boil.
3. Dice onions and garlic, leave 2 cloves to baste with steak. Season room temperature steak with salt and pepper.
4. Sear steak for 1-2 minutes on either side, baste with butter and garlic and lay to rest.
5. Take pasta off boil and drain leaving some pasta water in the pot.
6. Use pasta water and steak juices to fry onions and garlic.
7. On a low heat add cream and Parmesan and stir till thick and creamy.
8. Add pasta to the sauce and serve steak on top.
