1.As temperature sensors in thermometers.
2. To find the point of potential failure in electrical circuits.
3. To locate blockage in vein, arteries, infections and tumours by skin thermograph.
4.In the display of electrical devices(LCD) like digital watches, calculators & computers etc.
5.As a solvent in chromatography.
