Many devotees, dignitaries, and local community members gathered to witness the opening of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir in Berri. Amongst the dignitaries present were Ian Schlein, Councilor of the Berri Barmera Council; Andrew Haigh, Berri Barmera Council; Councilor Jagdish Lakhani, City of Campbell town; and Councilor Surendar Chahal, City of West Torrens.
