ambient exploration 21/06/24 - ‘return’.

For todays exploration, I was feeling a little uninspired - so I went back and decided to use a guitar sample I’d created a few years ago. The sample is sent into Strymon Magneto in tape loop/SOS mode, then qubit data bender and Make Noise Mimephon - all being clocked by Ableton/Pams. I also remixed another sample using the Jumble plugin which you can hear coming in around 2 mins in. I love ‘playing’ tape delays - I realise you can do this automatically with modular synths, but I enjoy doing stuff like this manually and by hand. If you’re ever feeling like this creatively, just go back to basics or back to older projects - don’t worry about what people may think and just enjoy yourself.
