"4 de Junio" (4th of June) is an Argentine patriotic military march composed by Francisco Lonuto (here performed by Alberto Rivera and Carlos Gallarce) that commemorates the coup d'état that occurred on June 4, 1943 in the Argentine Republic. This coup was led by the GOU - Group of United Officers. It was received with popularity among the population, as it was considered to mark the end of the so-called "Infamous Decade", a period of political instability that began with the Great Depression. The GOU government ushered in Peronism, which would be elected to power only three years later, in 1946.
