Ölgangsinsel, a Rhine river peninsula situated between the cities Neuss and Düsseldorf, is a beautiful nature reserve, usually not being visited by many people. An excellent place for a quiet and relaxing walk through nature along the banks of the Rhine. During the walking tour you will see the Josef Kardinal Frings Bridge (Josef-Kardinal-Frings-Brücke), the Lausward power plant (Kraftwerk Lausward) and Düsseldorf's landmark, the Rheinturm tv tower.
