Having bought my second axe and then saw all of the bad reviews it left me a little deflated....however I set myself a little project to make it look nice if nothing else.

I hoaned a new edge with my angle grinder and a 120 grit sick, then went though some sandpapers upto 600 grits and got a really nice shine.

I attempted to heat treat but I don't think it worked, I just couldnt get it hot enough, but hey ho I tried. Id do things a little different next time.

All in all I'm really happy with the outcome and I love my new axe....only time will tell if it holds up.
