Nitecore EDC27 Flashlight Review

This is part one of a multi-part review of the Nitecore EDC27 flashlight. I've received a large number of review requests for this light, so I want to thank Nitecore for sending me a unit for review and making these videos possible.

My goal in two or three videos is to fully cover ergonomics, UI, and field performance. Field performance includes beam shots, usefulness for a variety of EDC and outdoor use cases, as well as stress testing. Stress tests will include long exposures at Mid and High levels (using the light as an alternative to a headlamp), drop tests, and possibly rain exposure tests.

I will also do periodic testing for possible use cases in wilderness Search and Rescue, which is my primary use case for lighting systems.

I've pointed this out before, but it bears repeating. I am not an advocate, ambassador, enthusiast, fanboy, or hater of any brand. I am not influenced by vendors sending me lights. It's the same review whether they send me a light or I purchase it out of my own pocket.
