As part of our American Northeast road trip we arrive at Newport Rhode Island.
We have driven from Boston which was our first stop.

We have a look around our hotel - The Attwater Hotel which is part of the Lark Hotel group. (The stay was not sponsored and we paid the regular rate for our stay.)

Newport RI is famous for its sailing, the America’s cup and the annual sailing regatta. We enjoyed the town and would definitely visit again.

The boutique hotel, The Attwater sits on a quiet little street only 10 minutes walk from the harbour and the restaurants, it is also close to the famous mansions of Newport.

We had quite a bad storm during the last night which knocked out the power all over Rhode Island but the staff still managed to get out breakfast on time.
