The 7Artisans EF-SE adapter incorporates most, if not all, functions the Sony is capable of. It may require a reboot and a button press, but it works- just not quite as well as the same lenses adapted to Canon mirrorless cameras using Canon adapters.

Let's take a short look at the adapter on a Sony A7IV using a few of my favourite Canon EF/S lenses:

1. Canon 40mm F/2,8 STM
2. Canon 18-55 F/3,5-5,6 IS STM
3. Sigma 50mm F/1,4 EX DG HSM

If you are a Sony user that doesn't need weather sealing who is interested in using Canon EF/S lenses, the 7Artisans is a great choice.
