We also wanted to experience the all inclusive package of Hotel Riu Sri Lanka. So we took the weekend and visited the hotel for a one night stay.

The Great points about Riu

1. Like they say, "yes" you get unlimited beverages till midnight, yes this is inclusive of Liquor / Cocktail and mock-tail etc.

2. Hotel has a great entrance to the beach and 3 pools.

3. Best features was "Flamingo" the open pool bar.

4. All safety measures were followed and modern equipment were used in checking all the clients for body temperature.

5. Had a decent spread of food and an evening snack bar.

Things that can be better

1. Variety of food.

2. Unfortunately no room service is available.

3. No à la carte menu to order outside the buffet.

4. No food after 11.30pm, as no room service no food late night if you are hungry.

5. The 'Big' pool was closed.

But all in all a good experience and specially you would enjoy a lot if you are going there with friends.

And Bravo to the dance group as the full dance fusion act was one of the superb ones we have seen.
