How to fix a small hole in a plaster wall that was made by a doorknob. This is a simple DIY plasterboard wall repair, and you only need a few inexpensive tools to fix the wall.
This is a simple DIY wall repair anyone can do, and is a super easy to do for a home handyman with minimum tools. Once you've finished your wall repair and painted over it, you will have a hard time seeing where the repair was.

Tools Needed for your Drywall Hole Repair
A Scrap piece of plasterboard (drywall), a Plaster spreader knife, two short pieces of timber, a few plasterboard screws, an Electric screwdriver (or hand screwdriver), a sanding block and some sand paper, a Pencil and some premixed plaster filler, some paint and brushes to cover the finished repair.

The door stop I added at the end of the video, is to prevent the damage from recurring in the plasterboard.
Its simply cheap insurance to prevent further doorknob hole damage, and anyone can fit them.
