Majesty Crush bass tutorial: UMA

Uma is a Majesty Crush song from the 1993 album Love 15 and out now on the Numero Group reissue Butterlfies Don’t Go Away. It’s a very poppy (even for us) song based on a kind of ‘60s girl group type riff played on the bass with a lot of pull-off and open strings. The main riff is played almost like a drum part:
A-G-DD, AA-B-GG. Every four , there’s a little fill on the G string octave G-A.

The bridge is a back and forth drones C-D On the G string with a pull up to F#.

The break is a variation on that with an A and then the bridge before the last chorus is B-A-G.
