Leg Yield in the canter is a great warm-up tool to really get your horse's body unlocked. It is especially good for horses that are tight in the low back area and those that are more reactive than responsive to the leg.

JJ uses this exercise with the very sensitive and energetic Apollo as part of his routine warm-up to help him become loose, supple, and relaxed.
