Wakfu OST - Lenald Territory

Probably thanks to the positive feedback the composer received from the Wabbit boss theme having wabbits singing along, several of the new tracks for this island now also do, and i couldn't be happier, it gives the place its own identity and also it's just fun to have it there.


The lyrics for the boss theme were put together by the community a while ago in a forum post which i based my upload of that theme on, but for this one i am sad to say i can't figure it out myself to put the lyrics on the video itself, so i'm going to ask for your help as i did with the Waven songs, if you can figure out something that's being said in this one please let us know so we can try to piece it together!

This whole song to me has a very calm and festive aura in a way, it sounds like a peaceful night or afternoon, the singing feels like a christmas carol and the trumpets just add to that feeling, they're used a lot in my country's music and that gets blasted usually around the holidays, this feels almost magic to me, i like it a ton. The part before the singing is great too, using the signature instruments from the island, killer bass, and there's one part with like a bird chirp sample at 1:10 that i love to hear, rolls off super nicely.
Does it fit the Lenalds? Probably, peaceful warriors of tradition is what i picture them as, though i'm not sure if it's them or the wabbits singing, the voices here are the same that sing in the Wabbit music.


The music also plays inside the dungeon, which now replaces the Lin Kawaii and Shilay Lyu dojo from a previous quest, letting you choose between two paths with Lenalds that have different specialties based on ice and fire, them being a reference to the Lin Kuei and Shiray Ryu clans from mortal kombat.
Visually it's very pretty too with the areas filled with ice and snow or magma and flames, but that extends to the whole island, you've probably noticed there's now slopes in the map, they're a bit experimental still but already it adds so much to the natural feeling of the world paired with the less restrictive assets and the visual effects, it's starting to look less blocky and i'm all in for that.
