Did You Know In HULK…
Jennifer Connelly stars as Bruce Banner’s love interest, Betty Ross. This marks Connelly’s first appearance in a Marvel movie, but it would not be her last. Her next Marvel outing would be 14 years later in the MCU’s first Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Connelly voices Peter’s suit AI Karen throughout the movie.

Did You Know In AVENGERS…
When Bruce reveals that there was a time when he tried to kill himself, this is actually referencing a deleted opening scene from The Incredible Hulk. The scene saw Bruce try to do so in the Arctic, with his transformation into The Hulk preventing it.

Did You Know In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR…
This marks the third time in a row of appearances that Bucky Barnes has fallen from a great height and survived. He fell seemingly to his death from a moving train in Captain America: The First Avenger. He then fell from the helicarrier after Steve Rogers, to save him from drowning in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Here, he falls from a helicopter when Steve Rogers tries to stop him from leaving whilst he has been brainwashed by Baron Zemo.

Did You Know In DEADPOOL…
There is actually a stab at the title character’s earlier big screen appearance. When Francis aka Ajax suggests sewing up Wade’s mouth in order to shut him up due to his annoying comments, Wade quickly replies to him with “oh, I wouldn’t do that if I were you”. This is in fact a reference to the character’s appearance in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The sewn up appearance of Wade Wilson’s mouth was universally unfavorable amongst fans of the character, including actor Ryan Reynolds.

Did You Know In SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME…
There is actually a small reference to a comic book team up between two of the characters in the movie. Half way through the movie when Peter arrives in Berlin in his Night Monkey outfit, he gets into the car of who he believes to be Nick Fury. The license plate of the car is MTU83779. This is referencing the comic book Marvel Team Up issue 83 which was released in July 1979. The issue is called “Spider-Man and Nick Fury”.

Did You Know In SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME…
There happens to be a reference to one of the people behind the creation of Spider-Man. Look closely when Peter and MJ are relaxing on the roof of the school to get some alone time and get away from the madness of Peter’s identity being public. If you look at the back of the frame, you will actually see “Ditko” tagged in graffiti. Steve Ditko is of course responsible for the creation of Spider-Man alongside Marvel icon Stan Lee.
