Call of Duty Warzone has been rife with cheaters since the launch of the game mode. Given the free to play nature, cheating is always going to be something we have to deal with but with the integration of Ricochet, the proprietary anti-cheat developed in house for Warzone, it curbed a lot of it immediately following the launch. However, Warzone’s cheating issue once again flared up recently and it left many wondering when the next Warzone anti-cheat update would be coming. Turns out, earlier this week is when it happened in which it introduced a number of different measures, including multiple new ways to troll and negate the effects of the cheats the Warzone cheaters were using. Today we’re going to detail these new measures that were detailed by the Ricochet blog post that went live accompanying the update and what we can learn from it for the immediate Warzone play space and what it means for the future of Warzone and beyond.
