Sleeping in a Windmill in The Netherlands! (Friesland and Groningen)

We have always loved the idea of actually getting to spend the night in classic Dutch windmill, and now we did it!

Before we arrived in the cute little village of Onderdendam in the Groningen province of The Netherlands, we stopped in a town called Franeker in the province of Friesland. Franeker is famous for the Eise Eisinga Planetarium, which is the oldest functioning planetarium in the world!

There were of course sweet treats and food stops along the way. We hope you enjoy our overnight in this amazing old windmill!
