This song is a major throwback to my good ol' childhood days growing up with gaming. This song is the theme of the very first Kingdom Hearts game, which was made by Square Enix on behalf of Disney, as Final Fantasy characters crossed over to the game. Kingdom Hearts is a big time childhood RPG game of mine as goes for the majority of Square Enix's other works. Being someone that grew up to Disney material as well besides Anime, Kingdom Hearts was a game I stuck with all the way to the latest addition, being the third game which came out 5 years ago. This was the very first custom full band I did with these guys specifically back on Rock Band 2 as you can see by the old game textures, and this was before all of us got our RGH/JTAG 360's to be able to start playing RB3 online customs at the time, which was over a couple years ago. I had to dub over the video for this recording, because I didn't realize how sensitive the mic system was for RB2 when it comes to your own voice being projected, and my voice was overpowering the rest of the audio for the gameplay, which I wasn't a fan of. In this recording as well, a couple of the other guys Charlie and Neil specifically had the RB2 Deluxe mod equipped as they had RGH's already, playing RB2 here for this online custom (even though RB2 you just need a USB only for customs and don't have to do any other modifying of the sort), to which the OD activations are off sync as you see. This song also has a Japanese version by the name of Hikari which was released about a few months ago as a custom

This was a very fun one to do as a custom but because of RB2's engine traits, this full band did also wasn't exactly easy to get through. Guitar is pretty straight forward chords to go with the acoustic rhythm, Bass has nothing very notable to say the least, along with Drums other than I believe at the time of this recording we played an old version of the chart which didn't have many unisons to begin with. Vocals is the hardest role of this song, but isn't too bad to sing outside of the choruses due to Hikaru's range. There is however the soft spoken phrase right after the first chorus @ 1:36, which the Japanese version of this song doesn't have.

I do not own the rights to this game (as it's licensed by Harmonix)
