South Africa Celebration Series: MorningStar ECD (Level 4)

It starts with a meal, and it starts with you! Join us as the celebration continues in South Africa! Learn how MorningStar, a level 4 Early Childhood Development Center, has grown its Center into a thriving space for 35 children in Johannesburg, South Africa.

📚 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: Led by Rise Against Hunger Africa, the Early Childhood Development Connect (ECD Connect) Program ensures children between ages 0 and 6 have access to quality education and nutritious meals.

🍚 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: Since participating in the program, Founder and Principal of MorningStar, Sanna, explains how the ECD has made a difference, “It helps the children because [the parents] know that their children are in a safe place. They are being developed...They are being cared for, and they are safe. Also, they are having nutritious meals for the day.”
