I used Windows 7 for a week. It's surprisingly pleasant

Ahhh... using an OS from 15 years ago as my main OS for a week... I wonder how bad this could go. At least that's what Microsoft would assume. Except Windows 7 isn't as bad as another popular unsupported OS, Windows XP, when it comes to things such as hardware support and the modern internet and security.

So, as an individual with IT and cybersecurity certifications, I decided to try Windows 7 out for a week, using it as my main OS, and documenting my findings in this video. I hope you enjoy this one.

This video, codenamed VC0121, was recorded between the 9th and the 15th of August, 2024, with some B-roll filmed on the 24th. It took five days to edit the video, two days to record and edit the audio, and was uploaded on the 31st of August, 2024. It covers the use of Windows 7 as my main OS for a week, however this is not the same as using only Windows 7 for a week. Windows 10, 11, Linux, mobile devices, and game consoles can still be used, and some were for varying periods of time, particularly small use of Windows 10 and some heavy use of a Nintendo 3DS game system. This is not a stunt or challenge, as some people still use this operating system to this day.
