Report by Lt. Edwin H. Cooper, photographic officer of the 26th Yankee Division, on how he and his camera team filmed the attack near Château-Thierry on July 18 and 20, 1918.

Pictures and footage are in the public domain and come from the U.S. Signal Corps collection in the National Archives at Washington, D.C. Special thanks to Harry B. Kidd for sharing his pictures of World War I cameramen from this collection.

Footage showing attack on Torcy on July 18, 1918, has also been found in the collection of the Imperial War Museum in "Pictorial History of the World War, No. 7". Record number IWM 501-7.
