Our 7 FEARS of Early Retirement...and how we are doing 6 months in.

Thinking about early retirement is a scary prospect. There are so many unknowns and not enough knowns in such a life changing decision. We made the decision to retire in the summer of 2022 at the age of 51 and are now 6 months into our adventures.

Join us as we sit down and discuss our initial fears about giving up our jobs for a life of retirement and see how we feel about those fears 6 months down the line. There have been lots of fun times along the way, and to be honest a few of our fears still remain, but we are doing ok.

We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We have chosen to early retire from teaching during the summer of 2022 at the age of 51. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travel the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.

You will soon realise that we are complete YouTube beginners with all the challenges of creating and publishing videos ahead of us, not to mention uploading when on the road.
