Rope descent to SECRET BEACH in Cornwall!

Описание к видео Rope descent to SECRET BEACH in Cornwall!

Looking for somewhere away from the crowds with beautiful, golden sand and a gentle tumble on the waves, then watch this video where we take you to Molunan Beach on the Roseland Peninsula, near the lighthouse at St Anthony Head.

This beach is arguably 3 coves, Little Molunan, Great Molunan and an un-named cove closer to Carricknath Point. All 3 coves have varying degrees of exposure depending on tides, with more beach exposed as low tide is reached, so it is wise to look up times times before you visit.

NB: There is a rope to help your final descent to the beach. If care is taken, this is not overly tricky and can be accomplished reasonably easily.

Getting there: Head south towards St Mawes on the A3078, turning left towards Gerrans and Portscatho. Follow this road to the end, making sure to follow the National trust sign to St Anthony Head. There is a National Trust car park here. Pick up the South West Coast Path signed 'Place 2m', passing the old Paraffin store, and eventually crossing a wooden footbridge at Little Molunan.

Facilities: Car parking (charge levied) and toilets at the old barracks. About 5 minutes drive at Porth there is a car park (charge levied), toilets and seasonal cafe.

The standard description bit…
We are Sarah and Andrew and we film our walks around Cornwall and publish on YouTube, usually weekly. Sometimes we stay in accommodation in Cornwall and upload our vlog. Sarah is fascinated by sea glass and likes to collect it so there may be the occasional sea glass video too. The channel is a hobby and we both have normal day jobs!
