Offering of lamps and light!!. A light bulb (candle) symbolizes the light of wisdom, the same one that we light within ourselves.

We offer the lamps with the intention that their light dissipates the darkness of our ignorance, giving rise to clarity and wisdom.

We think of the beings who suffer and hope that their torments calm down. We aspire that all beings may have mental clarity to discover the causes of lasting happiness in their virtuous actions of body, speech and mind.

You can find this prayer in a photo of the XVII Karmapa (Orgyen Trinley Dorje) that is pasted on one of the windows of the candle house, in the Dag Shang Kagyu Buddhist center in Panillo (Huesca, Spain), where you can make your offering of light (candles) to Buddha.
