A new closed-loop motor designed to offer “unparalleled performance” will soon be available to purchase via the Crowd Supply website in the form of the IQ Motor Module. Design to provide users with an integrated motor and controller that uses a position sensor and advanced calibration and control algorithms to optimise motor performance. The IQ Motor Module can be seen demonstrated in the video embedded below.

Technical specifications for the IQ Motor Module include two variations offering a high-speed module and a precision module both in a 2306 size, with the high-speed module providing a constant rpm of 2200 KV, and the precision module a constant rpm of 220 KV. Both motor modules will have an estimated peak current of 30 A and estimated peak voltage of 25.2 V.
