Описание к видео Cartagena Colombia Travel Vlog | Family Vacation & Fun Things to do in Cartagena Colombia

Today’s video is a Cartagena Colombia travel vlog, featuring our family vacation and fun things to do in Cartagena Colombia. First of all, this family travel vlog is going to be mostly about our first Colombian city that we visited, Cartagena. We stayed there for a week, but now we are currently in a different city which is where I'm narrating this vlog. You're probably wondering which Colombian city, but more on that later.

When we said we were going to go to Colombia, I have to admit that my first initial thought was that this is not going to be a family-friendly destination. But I was wrong, and not only was our first Colombian destination family-friendly but Cartagena turned out to be a very unique and fun city filled with so much history. But before we show you, we'll take a look at exactly how we got to Cartagena.

Cartagena Colombia is the most important port in Colombia, and is also a tourist destination. It can be difficult to find things to do when traveling with the family in Cartagena Colombia. Some activities that you can do with your family while visiting Cartagena Colombia include lots of food options available for every type of palate, great beaches, UNESCO World Heritage Site (the old city), and day trips to other destinations in Colombia. If you are looking for things to do when traveling with the family in Cartagena Colombia, this video has what you need!

Cartagena is a coastal city that is famous for its colonial architecture, vibrant culture, and rich history. For families with children, there are plenty of things to do when traveling in Cartagena. For example, families can visit the San Felipe Fortress which has become one of the most popular attractions in Colombia. It's worth exploring all four levels of this well-preserved fortress where visitors can admire the old cannons and views over Cartagena Bay.

Cartagena also offers many scenic spots and is a fascinating city that has something to offer for everyone, such as sightseeing, restaurants, water sports, parks, and much more. Fridays and Saturdays are the best days for shopping in The Old City District or El Centro de la ciudad de Cartagena. There are plenty of shops selling Colombian crafts and souvenirs. You can also visit one of the many parks throughout the city! Not only will you get some exercise but you will also be able to explore stunning views of Cartagena's skyline.

If you'd like to learn more about Cartagena's colonial past, take a walk through its Old Town which offers plenty of interesting sights along the way such as jewelers' shops in Plaza del Carmen and an 18th century cathedral called La Catedral de Santa Maria La Menor. And if you enjoyed today’s Cartagena Colombia travel vlog, featuring our family vacation and fun things to do in Cartagena Colombia, please remember to like, share, subscribe and leave a comment if you have any questions, suggestions or feedback. We hope to see you here again soon!

Hello there! We’re originally from Woodland Hills, California, we got married in March 2009 and the twins were born two years later. We went on our first family vacation when they turned 1 and caught the travel bug since then. We’ve continued to travel throughout the years, so much so that it made more sense in 2019 to become a full time traveling family aka travel vloggers. The unexpected 2020 slowed down are plans a bit but we’ve been able to adjust. We initially started this travel vlog on Instagram but have decided to share it here on YouTube moving forward. We are so thankful to be able to share our happiness of creating new experiences, new memories and make new friends from all over the world. Thank you for following our journey!
