Our first ever video trying to make Newari style Golveda Achar.

This dish is very much famous in Kathmandu valley in Nepal among the Newar community, it is usually served in the newari bhoj. There are lots of version of it depending on the area you are in, but traditionally the main ingredients are tomatoes, peas, dried fish, onion & green chillies etc. It is usually eaten with beaten rice (baji) with lots of other dishes together in the feast usually served on a leaf plate (laptey).
