This is the PPSh-41 sub machine gun. In Russian, it is called
the "Pistolet-Pulemyot Shpagina." Translated in English, it is the
Shpagina Machine Pistol. It's nickname is the Pa Pa Shaw.

This weapon fires a 7.62 X 25mm Tokarev pistol round.

It was developed by designer Georgii Shpagin and was introduced in 1941
during the Great Patriotic War.
