Sri Krishna Asthika Samajam has been in existence doing religious activities ever since its inception in the year 1965. It was established with a view to provide a forum for the residents in an around Ghatkopar to carry on religious activities with an emphasis on salvation through the path of Bhakthi. Over a period of time, a large number of resident devotees, including Founder Members, Life Members and Patrons have shifted their residence to other localities in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, etc., due to various occupational reasons. Some of them have also left for heavenly abode. In spite of the distance, the members and their children still continue to be in touch with the Samajam and take active interest in its activities whenever we conduct functions. The foundation of faith and devotion laid by these devotees has been a great source of strength to the present day generation to carry on the activities and vision of the Samajam.
