Porsche's Biggest Mistake? Why The 2018 911 Carrera T Failed To Sell

Towards the end of the 991's reign, Porsche introduced a new variant that should have been a hit - the 911 T. Based on the entry level Carrera, the car was designed to appeal to driving enthusiasts by giving higher performance through lighter weight, rather than more power. In essence, a half-way house to a GT3 at a much more affordable price point.

Things did not go well though, with many sitting in dealerships unsold as soon as they were delivered. Now, five years since its release and many consider it to be one of the best modern 911s - so what do I think?
