INCREDIBLE Sights in MACEDONIA | Ohrid Travel Vlog

Описание к видео INCREDIBLE Sights in MACEDONIA | Ohrid Travel Vlog

Ohrid, North Macedonia has to be one of the most beautiful and interesting places we’ve ever visited. This town is a hub for religious activity and it is shown by the huge quantity of churches, cathedrals, and some mosques. We visited a few but it would take quite a while to visit all given that there are over 300!!!

In addition to all this religious history, there are vast amounts of relics from bygone eras that helped shape the region from the many Ottoman style white houses to the Byzantine St. Sofia church.

All of this would be incredible by itself, but what makes it even more of a wonder to see is the lake, predictably named Lake Ohrid. This lake is massive and is also shared with Albania where we had just come from!

Ohrid has so much to offer that we felt we could never get bored! We can't wait to share even more about this town with you in our next video!!

If you're new here...

Hi! We are Marshall and Sabrina, a couple from Colorado who are eager to see the world! We quit our jobs and packed our bags to pursue a life of full-time travel.

Our travels began in 2022 where we spent a month and a half navigating through new territory and adjusting to living out of a suitcase. After taking a year to build up our savings, we boarded a plane with one-way tickets to Europe!
