In this video I go over the reasons for connection request blocks, the solutions to blocks, and the best way to avoid future blocks.

Blocks vary in severity from first time blocks that will resolve themselves in 1-3 days, all the way to severe blocks that NEVER go away.

1) The first thing to do when you receive a block is to STOP sending new connection requests. You should go to check how many withstanding connection requests you have and start withdrawing connection requests to get them below 2000 total withstanding requests.

2) The next step will vary for first time blocks, intermediate blocks, and severe blocks.

First time blocks: Wait 1-3 days, this will go away on its own. Optimize your profile to avoid future blocks. Decrease volume of future connection requests. Send 10-25 connection requests when starting again, and stay between 50-75 a day on a regular basis.

Intermediate Blocks: Consider contacting safety and security. Stop sending connection requests immediately. Stop using any form of automation on LinkedIn.

Severe Blocks: You need to contact safety and security. Your account is at HIGH risk of penalties and your account already has decreased visibility on LinkedIn.

3) Determine why you received the block and modify your account behavior. Stop using bots. Optimize your profile. Stop sending out connection request messages. etc
