Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF Price:

The prices of the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF start from Rs 1,78,400, whereas the MotoGP Edition will set you back by Rs 1,79,200 (both ex-showroom Delhi). At these prices, the BS6-compliant iteration is dearer by almost Rs 6,000 compared to the BS4 versions.

Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF Features:

Suzuki has adopted the same design language for the Gixxer 250 SF as it has done for its smaller capacity Gixxer SF. They look identical with subtle colour differences to distinguish the two models. You can also opt for the MotoGP edition colour scheme. The Suzuki Gixxer 250 gets LED headlight and tail lamp, lending it a very robocop-ish face. It gets a full-digital instrument cluster that has the usual amount of info that you expect from a motorcycle of its capacity, like gear position indicator, clock, and couple of trip meters.



Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF Engine:

Suzuki has developed a one-of-a-kind oil-cooled engine for the Gixxer 250 SF. This 249cc single-cylinder engine is a purely oil-cooled motor with no fins on the cylinder block. It uses the engine oil to cool the engine by running the fluid through the pressure-sensitive areas. The BS6-compliant version makes the same power as the BS4 version (26.5PS) but the peak torque is slightly lower, at 22.2Nm.



Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF Suspension & Brakes:

There are likely to be no changes to the underpinnings of the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF. It runs with the same 41mm telescopic fork and preload-adjustable monoshock as found on the naked Suzuki Gixxer 250. It gets 17-inch machine-finished alloy wheels wrapped in radial rubber provided by MRF. There are disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.



Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF Rivals:

There aren’t any direct rivals to the Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF with the KTM RC 200 and Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 coming closest. Other notable alternatives in the naked segment are the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and the Bajaj Dominar 400.
