From live broadcasts to original public relations and ad campaigns, the School of Communication has interactive centers to ensure you get the hands-on experience needed to enter the workforce prepared. In addition to immersive classes, there are multiple award winning student-run media organizations based out of the school - like UMTV, Distraction magazine, The Miami Hurricane newspaper, WVUM: The Voice radio station, and the Orange Umbrella consultancy.
