💡 How to Fix Unable to Check For Update iOS 26
When Upgrading to iOS 26:
Try these four steps first:
Check Network: Ensure your Wi-Fi is stable.
Disable VPN: Turn off any active VPNs in Settings - General - VPN & Device Management.
Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings - General - Transfer or Reset iPhone - Reset - Reset Network Settings. Reconnect to Wi-Fi.
Turn Off Content & Privacy Restrictions: Toggle this off in Settings - Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions.
If the issue persists, use ReiBoot. Connect your iPhone, open ReiBoot, select "iOS Upgrade/Downgrade," then "Upgrade" to install iOS 26.

When Downgrading from iOS 26:
You'll need a computer and ReiBoot for this.
Backup Data: Connect your iPhone to your computer and back up your data using iTunes or Finder.
Downgrade with ReiBoot: In ReiBoot, select the "Downgrade" feature. Download the desired iOS firmware (e.g., iOS 18).
