BACK SPIN- EASY WAY TO LEARN

❌Some common mistakes on the back spin for beginners:
Three turn turns too quickly and spin falls out
Spin flips to an inside edge
Upper body swings outside the circle

Here are some TIPS to think of for your back spin.

1️⃣Start on the line and make a half circle inside edge curve leading with the opposite arm in front

2️⃣Turn the three turn at the top of the circle

3️⃣Hit the h position with the skating arm strongly checked in front for 1 rotation

4️⃣Slowly lock down the feet to cross position and then exit

🔑to Success….hold the edge to the top of the circle and don’t turn too early!
