The RE-201 Space Echo is a highly-prized classic. Tape warmth, great sounds, reverb on tap, big and beautiful. The RE-202 condenses all of that RE-201 goodness into a retro-shaped package that includes some welcome features not found on the original. Presets for starters. There are four foot-switchable memory slots on board with access to a full 127 slots if you employ a MIDI controller. Reverb types: not just one as found on the original but five different types. You can footswitch on or off your Reverb of choice too. There's a fourth virtual tape head - the original had three. If you want to spice things up you'll find 'Twist' and 'Warp' functions at your service: both foot-switchable. The RE-202 is proper stereo in/out. NEW and AGED virtual tape types are selectable as well as the amount of virtual Wow & Flutter. Saturation can be applied to both the tape and direct signals if desired. Tap tempo is here too. There's a lot to love about the RE-202. I decided that I'll just let the sounds do the talking for this video. Thanks for watching.
