NCL Alaska Cruise - The Norwegian Bliss at Ketchikan

Welcome to Ketchikan, it's Alaska's first city and the Salmon Capital of the World. It's the 4th of July and this is the fourth port of call for the Norwegian Bliss, after Sitka, Juneau, and Icy Strait Point (Hoonah). Unlike the other cruise lines (the ship shown at the beginning of this video which docks at the Ketchikan promenade), NCL has a dedicated dock at Ward Cove, about 15 mins away. A shuttle bus is provided for guests who would want to visit downtown.

Finally, I was ecstatic because the sun is up and will get the chance to do a walking tour at the famous Creek Street. I was not disappointed. We just need to get back to the big boat before 10am as there will be road closures due to the 4th of July parade.
