Remarkable Type Folio REVIEW: The Hidden Keyboard Cover

Remarkable isn’t a company that’s putting out hardware left and right, like some other’s in the e-ink space. So it’s always super exciting to see something new from the company.

They recently released the Type Folio for the Remarkable 2, which is a cover with an integrated hardware keyboard. But it's not just your run-of-the-mill cover with a keyboard thrown in. Instead, the Type Folio is using a very clever design that hides the keyboard when not in use.

All in all, the Remarkable Type Folio is a very surprising and clever addition to the Remarkable 2 which can basically transform the enote device into a digital type writer.

With its price of 200 bucks, it’s pretty expensive though. Getting a Remarkable 2 with the Marker Plus stylus and the Type Folio costs nearly 630 dollars or 680 euros, which is a lot of money.

But despite that high price, I can still recommend it, because all things considered, it’s still a great package. Just keep the software shortcomings in mind I mentioned earlier so you adjust your expectations accordingly.
