To meet your protein requirements-

Do not go out of your traditional, heritage practices of food. Veg to non-veg or egg, etc.
Do not go out of regional practices of food. E.g. Inclusion of sattu for protein or makhana. You can do it to share heritage but not as a source of protein.
Do not alter time-tested proportions of food. Increasing urad dal in idli prep or moong dal in khichdi. Or removing yolk & increasing no of eggs to eat at one time etc
Do not eat international sources of protein either - edamame or peanut butter or greek yogurt. When you do, do it for a change not for protein.
Digestibility of protein more important than consumption
Disrupted digestion means not just more gas & bloating but also more products like fibre or pre & pro biotic supplements or overuse of minerals like Mg, etc.
