Ravi Shankar, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, who was also the son of Shankar's Guru, the highly acclaimed Musician and performer on the Sarod, Ustad Alladin Khan & Alla Rakha is seen here on the first day of the New Year in 1973.
The Song's name or background I know nothing about and again if there is someone who does please let me know and I shall amend it in description as well.
I've included this onto my Channel as the late Ravi Shankar and Alla Rakha were both EXCEPTIONAL at their chosen instrument and regardless of the fact that i'm not from the sub-continent doesn't detract from ones ability to hear and feel this ancient musical scale and instrument's to appreciate the great skill and technique of Masters of their craft.
