Corrupt fruit of the New IFB's teachings on family, marriage and parenting have been finally uncovered by four oldest Steven Anderson's children in a number of interviews, describing horrible physical, mental and spiritual abuse they suffered throughout their childhood a the hands of both Steven and Zsuzsanna Anderson, as well as testifying about Steven's violent spousal abuse toward Zsuzsanna. There have been a number of scandals in the history of the New IFB that shooked the movement – from Modalism controversy back in 2018, Pastor Donnie Romero sex and gambling scandal of 2019, to the texting scandal involving a number of NewIFB church member's children, including some pastors' children, of 2020. But this scandal shook the New IFB to it's core, resulting in a number of pastors (including some long time friends of Anderson) and churches breaking fellowship with Steven Anderson, strongly condemning him for his behavior, and calling him to step down from ministry as clearly being disqualified to be a pastor. But it also resulted in establishing Steven Anderson as the cult leader, who refuses to step down, uses Faithful Word Baptist Church services not to minister God's word, but as a public platform for personal attacks against "his enemies" (his children included), claiming he did nothing wrong, insulting everyone who dares to disagree with him, as well as railing against his own children who exposed him – on top of other irrational behavior he demonstrated as a result of being exposed to the world as a wife beater and child abuser.
The New IFB has imploded to only a handful of "churches" (cult chapters, rather), consisting of "pastors" (cult leaders):
Steven "The Man of God" Anderson | Faithful Word Baptist Church
Jonathan "Shifting Sands" Shelley | Stedfast Baptist Church
Bruce "You Know What?" Mejia | First Works Baptist Church
Aaron "Shut Your Mouth" Thompson | Sure Foundation Baptist Church
with their faithful sidekicks such as Ben "the Buttkiss" (alright, the Baptist).
These are the people who unconditionally support Steven Anderson in all of this and should be marked and avoided.
Roger Jimenez of Verity Baptist Church has initially supported Anderson, but allegedly isn't as supportive as Anderson would have liked so this alliance is questionable.
