I swear, Luke is one of the best villains and characters in the entire PJ series. His motivations for turning to Kronos side are really understandable and we can't help but sympathize for him. A lot of his actions - from poisoning Thalia's tree to hurting his fellow demigods - are definitely out of line, but you can really see how deep and dark he slowly plunged as the series goes on. And that makes his sacrifice and redemption all the more great and worth it in the end~
