The front hitch for mounting the Home Plow by Meyer needs to measure between 10-13 from the ground to centerline of the Class 3 2 receiver hitch. When a vehicle is too high or too low, the Home Plow's offset 4 in. drop/rise extension hitch will be required. This offset attaches to the Quick-Link receiver that is mounted to the front of your vehicle.

Perfect for my roadtrip!
I bought this to mount to my front receiver hitch to raise my cargo basket. My basket has fishing rod holders and the surf rods were riding low and occasionally dragging in deep sand when on the beach. This really did the trick, raising the basket up enough that I didn’t have to worry about damage to my fishing rods.
