William and Wilber were born in 1988 in Bogotá, Colombia, and grew up in the countryside. As adults, they decided to move back to the capital and got jobs as butchers in a grocery store.

One day while William was working, a woman named Laura recognized him as Jorge and asked why he was behind the counter. Confused, he replied that his name wasn't Jorge but William. It turned out that Jorge, who worked with her at a natural gas company, looked exactly like William. Laura then decided to share the story with Jorge. This left him stunned, but what shocked him even more was seeing on William's social media that his brother Wilber was the spitting image of his own brother, Carlos.

Due to a hospital mistake, they were switched at birth and grew up believing they were fraternal twins. William and Wilber were raised on a rural farm in Santander, while Jorge and Carlos grew up in the big city of Bogotá.

When they finally met each other, they discovered that the sets of identical twins had a lot in common. William and Jorge are more outgoing, sociable, and clownish. Wilber and Carlos, on the other hand, are more systematic, charming and coincidentally have girlfriends with the same name.
