I show you how to set screen timeout on your Itel A26. Screen timeout indicates when your phone will turn black with no activity. For instance if you set this at 15 seconds and don't touch your display then after 15 seconds your phone will turn black. However locking your phone is different.
Lock Screen Timeout indicates when your phone will actually lock. For instance if you set your "screen timeout" for 15 seconds and set your "lock screen timeout" for 5 seconds then once your screen turns off after 15 seconds then you must wait another 5 seconds for it to lock. When your phone actually locks you will have to enter your password to log back into your phone. Note also that I advise to always enable the feature "lock phone with power button is pressed". This way anytime you press your power button to lock your phone it will instantly lock it every time.
